Georgia Southern’s leading scorer Adante’ Holiman has announced that he intends to enter the transfer portal.
The 6-0 junior led the Eagles in scoring in his only season, with 16.9 points per game. He also added 2.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. Holiman did this playing just over 30 minutes per game, and shot nearly 42 percent from the field. He also shot 38.6 percent from deep.
Holiman transferred to Georgia Southern during the 2024 offseason from UTSA. In his sophmore season at UTSA, Holiman averaged 7.5 points in 21.6 minutes per game.
This will not be the second time he has transferred, but his third time in three years, as he spent his freshman season at UTRGV. During that season, Holiman averaged 7.5 points in 21 minutes.
His career-high came in a game with an Eagles jersey on, when he scored twenty-eight against Old Dominion in a close game in January. Holiman scored twenty points or more in eleven of the twenty-five games this season.
Holiman will be searching for his fourth school in four years when the portal opens. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.
